Northern BC GIS "Un"Conference

June 1 and 2, 2010

At the University of Northern British Columbia

What is the UnConference

As we have not had a great amount of feedback as to what kind of conference we are to put on, as well as low numbers of committed attendees, we are putting on an UnConference. We normally hold a typical conference every two year, but our numbers have been dropping in the last two conferences. So we are going back to our roots and we have organized a set of workshops and presentations to help out user in Northern BC.

We are not going to organize a social, but rather meet afterwards for food and refreshments. Lunch will be provided to those that register by May 26th.

Even Better GreatPrice

The cost for the conference is $75.00 $25.00 payable by cash or cheque at the unconference. Your registration includes workshops and presentations at the conference.

Registration - made easy

This year we are taking registration through email and payment once you get to the unconference. To let us know if you want to attend, email us at  nbcgis@gmail.com. If you want your lunch provided, remember to register by May 26th.

CONFERENCE PROGRAM - THEMES WE ARE DISCUSSING

This year organizers are looking at different themes that have been emerging from our survery and comments from users. We have taken this input and created a two day program that we hope meet the needs of attendees.
